ANTINOO ARCIGAY NAPOLI
Since 1984, Antinoo Arcigay Napoli has been an important local (and not only local) organization for the prevention of STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections) and for the fight against stigma, discrimination and serophobia.
It collaborates with the main National Health Service facilities in the metropolitan area of Naples. As a member of Ce.Rif.ARC (AIDS Reference Center of the Campania Region), it has implemented some important protocols, such as the one with Azienda Ospedaliere dei Colli (Cotugno Hospital) and FIMMG (Italian Federation of General Practitioners).
A Health Group is active in the association and there is a health manager,
Dr. Viviana Rizzo.
The association performs rapid, anonymous and free HIV, syphilis and hepatitis tests by appointment and at public events or gathering places.
We have health and prevention projects with GILEAD, ViiV and ARCO, the main one being HIV TUTOR CARE, which provides support and information through a help desk open every day at the Cotugno Hospital in Naples.
The association works with local schools to prevent and overcome any form of serophobia.
